For over a decade BB Zerspanungstechnik manufactures high quality turned parts for a wide array of industrial applications.

Year of founding

It was in December 1998 that Bernd Braun founded BB Zerspanungstechnik. The first location was Königsbach-Stein. In this industrial district premises were rented. He started with one CNC-automatic lathe and one employee.


The consistent success story lead to new customers and additional investment is necessary. 6 employees operate 8 CNC-automatic lathes and BB Zerspanungstechnik are granted the QM-Systems certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000.

November 2004

Increasing production numbers demand more space. The move into the company's own new building in Breitwiese 3 in Königsbach-Stein industrial district followed. With an area of 950 m2, 7 employees and 10 CNC-automatic lathes in the new manufacturing plant the production continues.

March 2006

In 2006 BBZ additionally offers laser engraving. Meanwhile the machine fleet has grown to 15 machines. 12 committed employees guarantee professional manufacturing and quality.

March 2010

The manufacturing of the first own product, the BBZ-watchmaker's loupes has started.

June 2011

The beginning of the expansion starts with the new branch factory in Walzbachtal and 4 additional machines and 2 employees.

May 2012

The branch factory in Walzbachtal now takes over the polishing of turned parts.

July 2012

The further increase in production demands more space. Additional 300 m2 storage space in the neighboring building are rented.

March 2013

High-gloss turning and diamonding now are offered directly.

April 2013

The presentation and manufacturing of the innovative own product carrier system has started.


With 16 qualified employees and 22 CNC-automatic lathes BB Zerspanungstechnik is still on the success track. Even with higher production numbers BB Zerspanungstechnik has by no means lost sight of quality and reliability. Customers reward BB Zerspanungstechnik efforts with further increasing orders.
